Restaurant À L’aise

Branding


A clas­sic high-end restau­rant sit­u­ated in Oslo, with a french-inspired kitchen, and a name that derives from à l’aise – mean­ing “at ease” or “com­fort”. We wanted to cre­ate an iden­tity that reflected the tra­di­tional lux­ury as well as the mod­ern gourmet food. As the inte­rior was already set we wanted to use that in the brand­ing, while intro­duc­ing a con­trast­ing and bold sig­na­ture colour.

My role was to cre­ate the brand iden­tity and brand guide­lines as well as imple­men­ta­tion across sev­eral sur­faces – includ­ing sig­nage, sta­tionery, menus and adver­tis­ing (both printed and dig­i­tal).
